With the game tied, Raina Perez hit the go-ahead jumper with 2.1 seconds left for the Wolfpack, and Louisville’s Dana Evans’ potential game-winner at the buzzer hit off the back of the rim.

The second seeded NC State Wolfpack won a tough battle against the third seeded Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 66-61 in the semifinals of the 2021 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Pack had to put together a big effort in the fourth quarter, outscoring Tech 23-13 in the final period to rally for the win. Elissa Cunane led all scorers with 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting with nine rebounds in the win.

The top seeded Louisville Cardinals relied on a balanced attack as they got past the fifth seeded Syracuse Orange in the Semifinal round of the 2021 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, 72-59. Two-time ACC Player of the Year Dana Evans led the way with 13 points and 3 assists while Olivia Cochran finished with a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
